Sunscreen roller blinds
West · the view glassOne flat sheet of open-weave fabric on a tube — no folds, no pleats. In a low openness (3–5%) it knocks the glare off the water and a useful share of the heat while keeping the bay and the mountain visible through the weave, which on a Big Bay view wall is the entire point.
It reverses after dark: lights on inside and the room is on display from the beach path — a real issue on a close estate stand. There we'd pair it with a blockout on the same opening rather than pretend one fabric does both jobs.
